While opening, the piston or disc retracts completely into the valve body. This, along with our maximized port sizes, helps our designs provide unrestricted full flow and maximum flow capacity.These In-Line Disc and Piston Valves are bi-directional.
Typical applications for in-line disc valves include block valves for slurry type media, especially in combination with low pressures, temperatures and/or vacuum.
Typical applications for in-line piston valves include use as a dead space free block valve for high viscosity products or abrasive slurries, especially in combination with high pressures and high temperatures.
